Pinkhealth Foundation conducted a Community-based breast cancer awareness project. Participants were taught how to carry out breast self-examination and women from these communities were screened for breast cancer using ultrasound. Pinkhealth Foundation in collaboration with Women For Cancer, Kenya, conducted a project that involved a comprehensive training of midwives on cervical cancer screening including practical sessions on V.I.A screening (Visual Inspection With Acetic acid). This project was funded by the International Research and Exchanges Board (IREX – https://www.irex.org/) in 2021.
